Waveform Analyzer detects defects in dispense processes.

Press Release Summary:

Using membrane sensors, Loctite® Fluid Waveform Analyzer C (LFWA-C) Series offers standardized application process for monitoring sealant and adhesive dispenses for variability. Rotospray mode monitors up to 4 short simultaneous dispenses, while single bead dispense analysis mode monitors single dispense operations. With modifiable parameters, processes can be refined to prevent production shutdowns by identifying potential problems before they arise.

Henkel Adds New, Improved Product to Loctite® Brand Equipment Line

LFWA-C Series Provides Improved Dispense Monitoring Technology

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., April 3 -- Henkel Corporation recently announced the addition of the Loctite(R) Fluid Waveform Analyzer C (LFWA-C) Series to its Loctite(R) brand line of Zero Defect Manufacturing equipment technologies. The LFWA-C Series monitors sealant and adhesive dispenses for variability. The new LFWA-C Series requires only minimal floor space and offers simplified hardware and connectivity, reducing costs from more complex systems by 25 percent.

The LFWA-C Series joined the two original models, the LFWA Signature Series 1 and the LFWA Signature Series 4.1. The LFWA-C is intended to simplify customer configuration with a quick startup and easily modifiable parameters, and offers the industry a standardized application process. The unit comes with two dispense monitoring modes: the rotospray mode, which monitors up to four short simultaneous dispenses, and the single bead dispense analysis mode, which monitors one dispense at a time.

"To continue providing innovative solutions to our customers, our chemists and engineers are constantly developing new ways to further enhance our current products," said Dr. Matthias Hofmann, vice president and general manager, Henkel Orbseal North America, and head of engineering, Henkel Automotive North America. "The LFWA-C Series is just another example of our ongoing commitment to provide customers with advanced, cutting-edge technologies."

All LFWA product technologies are designed to detect defects in dispense processes. Using advanced membrane sensors to monitor sealant and adhesive dispenses, the processes can then be refined to prevent production shutdowns by identifying potential problems before they arise. This quality monitoring methodology reduces down time, ensures quality and helps plant operators evaluate and optimize their automated manufacturing processes.
