CRANSTON, RI--Type TM Thermostatic Water Mixing Valves designed to control water temperature for domestic hot water systems and multiple showers in industrial applications, are currently available from Leonard Valve Company, the quality leader in the manufacture of thermostatic water mixing valves. Leonard Type TM Thermostatic Water Mixing Valves provide dependable control of water temperature when correctly sized, installed and maintained. The valves are powered by the company's exclusive DURA-trol(R) solid bimetal thermostat, which is resistant to puncture, fatigue and cannot be damaged when temporarily exposed to excessive temperatures. Linked directly to valve porting, the thermostat controls hot and cold water intake and compensates for supply temperature or pressure fluctuations. DURA-trol(R) is also highly responsive and provides mixed water temperatures according to ASSE Standard 1017 requirements. The Type TM Valves also incorporate a High Temperature Limit Stop adjustable to 8-deg. F (13-deg. C) below the hot water supply temperature. Internal parts are constructed of bronze, brass and stainless steel. Available valve finishes include rough bronze, satin sprayed and chrome plated.
