(NASDAQ:VETX), a leading provider of supply chain fulfillment technologies, today announced the release of eWMS v3.5.1, its JAVA architected warehouse management solution. eWMS v3.5.1 is made available through Vertex's direct sales channel and strategic partner, Pitney Bowes Distribution Solutions (PBDS), through the PBDS brand (PB_WMS). eWMS v3.5.1 is the first release that incorporates the participation of Steve Smith, President PBDS, as member of the Vertex Product Executive Advisory Committee.
eWMS v3.5.1 functionality benefits several industries including Third Party Logistics (3PL). Many 3PL customers have diverse needs; their systems must be robust and flexible enough to meet these varied requirements. eWMS is designed to support the on-going needs of 3PL companies with multi-owner, multi-warehouse capability, a robust billing module, and flexible invoice generation. eWMS v3.5.1 has enhanced billing capabilities with the addition of multiple, split- month billing options.
