Wanfeng Auto Holding Group Selects UGS' Teamcenter Express for cPDM

China's leading auto parts manufacturer adopts PLM strategy; ERP integration is key
PLANO, Texas - UGS Corp., a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced that Wanfeng Auto Holding Group (Wanfeng Auto) has selected UGS' Teamcenter® Express software for its first collaborative product data management (cPDM) system.
A leader in China's auto industry, Wanfeng Auto is the largest aluminum alloy wheel producer in Asia and one of the top 50 auto parts suppliers in China. In line with its vision "to create a broad international brand and establish an evergreen, learning enterprise," the company has developed a PLM strategy and selected UGS' Teamcenter Express software to transform their process of innovation by applying preconfigured best practices to everyday engineering tasks and processes.

Wanfeng Auto purchased Teamcenter Express from Hangzhou Huaruan Technology Co., Ltd., (Huaruan), a UGS channel partner. Huaruan is a subsidiary of Chemical Engineering Mechanics Research Institute dedicated to the development and promotion of computer-aided design CAD/CIMS technology. The company joined the UGS Global Channel Program and currently offers enterprise and mid-market solutions.
