Logibanque Solution Helps Groupe Moniteur Quickly Evolve to SaaS Offering
IRVINE, Calif. and LONDON, Jan. 23 -- Endeavors Technologies, the pioneer in application streaming and virtualization technology, and its parent company, Tadpole Technology plc, today announced Wallace Systems has incorporated AppExpress into its Logibanque software distribution and management system. Wallace Systems has implemented its first large-scale deployment of Logibanque at Groupe Moniteur in France, enabling Groupe Moniteur to immediately offer its extensive information catalogs via a web-based system and avoid a time consuming, expensive move to web 2.0 technologies.
"Protecting against software piracy and reducing illegal copies of its catalogs on unauthorized download sites was a primary concern for Groupe Moniteur," said Pierre Marguelles-Bonnet, Ingenieur Conseil at Wallace Systems. "AppExpress addresses this need by locking Groupe Moniteur's proprietary data together with a corresponding reader. The data is then encrypted and streamed to the users' desktop. As a further protection against piracy, upon delivery the information is only usable by one specific client device, eliminating the ability to copy and distribute the information."
Logibanque is a modular solution that utilizes Endeavors' AppExpress to stream applications for on-demand delivery to users. The solution also provides sales process management, including bill generation, automated bank transfers and user/reseller activity reporting. Logibanque enables ISVs and content providers to smoothly migrate to a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.
