Doosan Infracore Portable Power Introduces New Walk-Behind Compactors

MOCKSVILLE, N.C. - Doosan Infracore Portable Power introduces to its line of Ingersoll Rand vibratory walk-behind compactors the new Ingersoll Rand DX- 600H and the DX-700H.

These compactors provide an efficient way to achieve jobsite productivity, optimal density and smooth quality mat finishes, while delivering the best combination of rolling width, static weight, centrifugal force and frequency.

The DX-600H and DX-700H models are powered by rugged Honda gasoline engines for dependable operation. Both compactors were designed with the same superior performance features in the current offering of the DX500E, DX600E and DX700E which offer Kubota diesel engines.

The DX-600H has a drum diameter of 14 inches (356 millimeters), a drum width of 25 inches (635 millimeters) and an operating weight of 1,345 pounds (610 kilograms). The DX-700H has a drum diameter of 16 inches (406 millimeters), a drum width of 25.5 inches (650 millimeters) and an operating weight of 1,565 pounds (710 kilograms).

Maneuverability is enhanced with the DX-Series through the compactor's hydrostatic propulsion system, which allows operators to vary rolling speed to meet application demands without changing the governing engine speed. The DX-Series compactors have a high curb clearance and a narrow side clearance, making the compactors ideal for a variety of job applications.

The compact design provides up to a 9.7-inch (248 mm) curb clearance and 1.02-inch (26 mm) side clearance for work in confined spaces. Standard features on the DX-Series include fold-up handles for easy storage and transportation, a center-mount lifting hook and an automatic shut off.
