Wafer Reader to Debut in Second Quarter, 2005 at $4995

DULUTH, Ga., Feb. 2 -- DVT Corporation's strong leadership position in the machine vision manufacturing marketplace will soon expand its reach into the semiconductor world with the introduction of a new wafer reader. According to Bob Steinke, Chairman and CEO of DVT, "This is a huge win for the semiconductor market since DVT will enter this arena with a highly- reliable product offered at a significantly lower price point than is currently available today. With DVT global offices and 150 Automation Solution Providers located throughout the world's key semiconductor manufacturing regions, we are poised to serve our new industry sector with FREE local support, software, and training."

Steinke continues, "With the acquisition of MTI Machine Vision in 2004, DVT was able to combine MTI's world-class algorithm library with our broad range of smart camera-based, machine vision systems, resulting in a wafer reading product line that will be the most robust OCR and decoding product offering in the vision industry." By seeing, reading, recording, and responding to industry-standard wafer identification, the DVT wafer reader provides the product traceability and real-time validation manufacturers require throughout the fabrication process. Integrated lensing and lighting capabilities provide the flexibility required to read the code consistently throughout the various stages of production that subject the wafer to changes in appearance, such as contrast and color modifications.

DVT plans to offer introductory pricing of $4995 for the wafer reader, which is to be released during the second quarter of 2005.

DVT attributes its continued growth and high level of success to the company's philosophy of 'Servant Leadership.' This means putting the needs of customers ahead of personal needs. Instead of asking "What's in it for me?" DVT asks our customers "How may we serve you?" Agape is a Greek term meaning Unconditional Love. DVT's Agape Support is Unconditional for its customers, who are always entitled to free classroom, online and CD-based product training, free operating software and upgrades, and free online diagnostics and troubleshooting.
