W-Series Power Distribution Blocks come with built-in joiners.

Press Release Summary:

W-Series IP 20 Power Distribution Blocks are used for distribution of power in low voltage applications (UL - 600V/ 30 - 310 A, AC/DC). Capable of managing multiple load connections from one to nine poles, units are constructed from UL 94 V0 halogen free materials. Product comes with transparent top cover that enables clear view of wire termination points and bussing configurations. For creating multi-pole assemblies, units can be direct or DIN-rail mounted and ganged together.

Reduce Installation Cost and Improve Safety with Weidmuller’s New Unique W-Series Power Distribution Blocks

Weidmuller announces the expansion of their line of IP 20 Power Distribution (WPD) Blocks. The design of the new blocks incorporates finger safety and offer reduced installation cost, when compared to conventional terminal blocks, by joining individual blocks to create small bus modules in the control cabinet.

The new compact, single bus modules have the ability to manage multiple load connections from one to nine poles. This unique design provides space-savings in the cabinet, while the transparent top cover offers a clear view of wire termination points and bussing configurations. The WPD blocks can be DIN-rail or direct mounted and ganged together via built-in joiners to create multi-pole assemblies of two- and three-phase groupings.

Weidmuller’s new WPD blocks are ideal for power source distribution in low voltage applications (UL - 600V / 30 – 310 A, AC/DC) and accommodate a range of wire sizes from AWG 14 – 3/0. Constructed of UL 94 V0 halogen free materials, the WPD blocks provide safe and advanced technology connections to deliver power and performance for a wide range of industrial applications.

Weidmuller supports customers and partners around the world with products, solutions and services in the industrial environment of power, signal and data.
