VTU Voltage Transducers fabricated with DIN rail mounted housing.

Press Release Summary:

Available in industry standard output options (4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 VDC), VTU Voltage Transducer measures AC or DC circuit voltages up to 1200 volts. Providing high accuracy and safety in a panel, unit measures voltage in applications like pumps and aerators for water delivery systems. Device is suitable for monitoring voltage of field windings in DC motors of cranes and heavy-lifting equipment.

Original Press Release:

New VTU Voltage Transducer from NK Technologies Measures Circuit Voltages to 1200 Volts with Single Sensor

NK Technologies introduces the VTU Voltage Transducer, which can measure AC or DC circuit voltages to 1200 volts with a single sensor. The sensor produces an analog signal directly proportional to the RMS voltage, making it an ideal tool for detecting power generation issues – such brown outs and phase loss – from both conventional and alternative sources. With industry standard output options (4-20mA, 0-5 and 0-10 VDC), the VTU Voltage Transducer is compatible with most automation and control systems.

NK Technologies’ VTU Series of voltage transducers provide high accuracy and safety in a panel or DIN rail mounted housing. The VTU Voltage Transducer is used to measure voltage in a variety of applications, including pumps and aerators for water delivery and treatment systems, allowing them to be shut down quickly if the supplied voltage falls to a dangerous level. The unit can also monitor voltage of field windings in the DC motors of cranes and heavy-lifting equipment, among many other applications.
