(NASDAQ: VOLT), a leading provider of grid backbone solutions for the data center, today announced that its InfiniBand-based solutions are used in two of the world's top five supercomputers according to the 30th edition of the Top500 list of the world's most powerful computers released last week. 125 supercomputers (25% of the list) are connected with InfiniBand, 52% more than the 82 supercomputers reported on the November 2006 list. Voltaire continues to maintain a leadership position on the list with more deployments than any other InfiniBand systems vendor.
