Voltage Regulator offers voltage fluctuation solution.

Press Release Summary:

Rack-mount Model TPC2993 consists of 19 in. voltage-regulation power distribution unit in 1U form factor. It accepts low voltage, brown out, or over voltage from 105-137 V. Sensing circuitry reacts to input voltage and adjusts transformer to output regulated 120 V, ±5 V. Nine 120 Vac outlets allow for connection to computers or electronic devices. Front panel has main 15 A circuit breaker that doubles as on/off switch. All-steel enclosure houses 8 NEMA 5-15R receptacles.

Pulizzi Engineering, Inc. Announces the TPC2993 Voltage Regulator

Santa Ana, CA-Pulizzi Engineering, Inc. announces the release of a new voltage regulation power distribution unit. Pulizzi model TPC2993 is a 19" rack mount solution for voltage fluctuation problems. The system accepts a low voltage (brown out) or over voltage, anywhere from 105 volts to 137 volts. The sensing circuitry quickly reacts to the input voltage and adjusts the transformer to output a well regulated 120 volts, +/- 5 volts. There are nine 120 volt AC outlets, allowing the user to connect most any computer or electronic devices. The TPC2993 is an ideal solution for information technology systems or audio/video/broadcast applications. Studies have shown that voltage fluctuation is much more common than power outages. This allows the TPC2993 to be used in place of more costly UPS installations. This avoids the cost of maintaining and replacing batteries that are seldom if ever used. The TPC2993 is also ideal for locations where utility regulation is poor, preventing damage to power supplies that can be caused by over/under voltage stress. Your equipment will benefit from better performance and extended life, reducing total cost of ownership. The TPC2993 is a 1U (1.75") tall, 19" rack mount device, 9.5" deep. The unit has a rugged all steel enclosure and is painted black. The power input is on the rear via a power inlet, allowing several cable and plug options. There are eight NEMA 5-15R receptacles on the rear and one on the front. The front panel has a main 15 amp circuit breaker that doubles as an on/off switch. There are voltage level indicator lights on the front panel to monitor the power input. Additional indicators verify the unit is outputting a regulated 120 volts and alert if an extreme voltage has caused a shut down. To ensure secure connections, the TPC2993 is compatible with the cable restraint and management system, KIT-CABLRES-01 (ordered separately). The TPC2993 has a list price of $899, with OEM quantity discounts available.
