ActiveBatch's SC-VMM new job steps offer a complete, unified and easy-to-use environment for workflow scheduling. Supporting Microsoft Virtual Server, Microsoft Hyper-V and other virtual machine systems, the steps substantially extend ActiveBatch's already strong support for VMware, enabling a wide range of VMware-based provisioning and event commands.
ActiveBatch's Virtual Machine Manager steps also allow data center personnel to make greater use of Microsoft's popular virtual server management tool. Part of the Microsoft System Center line, Virtual Machine Manager coordinates and consolidates physical and virtual or cloud-based infrastructure for greater efficiency. From an easy-to-use central management console, the tool identifies suitable resources, provisions those resources, migrates information, and intelligently distributes workloads as needed.
