Electronic Vibration Switch
January 9, 2004, Depew, NY - The IMI Sensors Division of PCB Piezotronics introduces Model 685A01, 24 VDC powered, electronic vibration switch with explosion-proof housing. The vibration switch provides early warning of machine deterioration and will shut the machine down when the trip level is exceeded, preventing catastrophic damage and expensive repairs.
Features include Form C (SPDT) relay, adjustable trip point, local and remote reset, and continuous or latch relay operation. Operating range is 0 to 10 g's from 10 to 1000 Hz. This is ideally suited for predictive maintenance on pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, as well as any other rotating equipment.
