CINCINNATI, OH (November 28, 2001) -The new Cincinnati Machine Arrow Series VMC-750 vertical machining center features the exclusive Ultimate Performance technology, the most affordable technology for the life-of-the-machine-tool investment. The all-new Cincinnati Machine performance package. including digital vector servos, state-of-the-art Profibus I/O interface technology and maintenance-free guideways, puts Ultimate Performance technology to work for you. The Arrow Series VMC-750's digital vector spindle drive system eliminates the need for a gearbox, while providing high torque at low rpms. The self-cooled, brushless motor allows owners to operate at a wide range of power up to 17 Hp Max, 12 Hp continuous (9 kW). The Arrow Series VMC-750 provides a 37.4" X 20.5" (900 mm X 520 mm) work table and machine capacity of X-axis 30" (762 mm), Y-axis 20" (510 mm), Z-axis 20" (510 mm) giving this vertical machining center the capability to handle workpieces weighing up to 1650 lb. (500 kg.). The drive system provides constant torque output regardless of load, maintaining high acc/dec rates throughout the speed range. Full torque is available at zero speed.
