Verizon Business Expands Global Availability of Online Customer Service Portal

SINGAPORE, September 18 / / --

- Online Centre Provides Personalised View of Network Services, Applications

Verizon Business has expanded global availability of its Verizon Business Customer Centre portal to customers based in Asia Pacific. The one-stop,
online portal makes it simple for customers to obtain an integrated,
personalised view of their complete range of network services, offering them
another way to manage their global networks and associated applications.

The Verizon Business Customer Centre is a key component of the company's
ongoing enhancements to its customer-enablement capabilities. The portal
complements Verizon Business' extensive local and global service and support
capabilities, expanding customer-service flexibility and choice.

The portal provides seamless and secure access to a wide variety of
critical data, and tools to manage that data, as well as helpful reference
materials. Customers can use the portal to more efficiently check invoices
for voice services, submit and view the status of their orders, get an
overview of project progress or open trouble tickets. Data, voice and IP
networking requirements can be managed flexibly online, and call and data
traffic patterns quickly analysed. These features enable customers to quickly
determine and allocate resources to help control costs. In addition, a
network Dashboard gives customers a near real-time view of all their global
fault, alarm and network performance, and inventory information on an
easy-to-read topology map. The portal can be fully tailored to support the
customer's individual business requirements and objectives.

"We have received great feedback on the Verizon Business Customer Centre
from our existing enterprise business users," said Nancy Gofus, chief
marketing officer, Verizon Business. "Our objective is to empower our
customers; the portal enhances their control of their global communications
services in a simple, easily accessible format. The portal allows our
customers to tailor the use of our network services and applications to
manage their own businesses, enhancing overall productivity and efficiency."

The Verizon Business Customer Centre is now fully available for customers
based in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the U.S. Nine language
preferences are currently available: Chinese (Cantonese), Dutch, English
(U.K. and U.S.), French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.
