BOSTON, Oct. 10 -- Vectron International, a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions, today announced a new series of surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters specifically designed to meet the needs of the evolving WiMAX industry. At the 2006 WiMAX World Conference & Exposition, Booth 513, the company is showcasing its broad solutions portfolio for WiMAX applications, including this new series of low loss, high performance surface mount SAW filters.
Leveraging its expertise in the development and production of low cost IF filters for WLAN and GSM base station filters, Vectron developed this new series of SAW filters for WiMAX Applications to meet the growing demand for high performance IF WiMAX filters. Available at several center frequencies and bandwidths required for all key WiMAX applications, they provide low insertion loss, a small group delay ripple and high stop band attenuation. Depending on the overall performance, the SAW filters are packaged in either a 3.8 x 3.8mm or 7 x 5mm SMD package, and can be driven balanced, unbalanced or both.
The new customizable SAW filters are among a broad range of Vectron product solutions targeted specifically for the evolving WiMAX industry, including SAW filters, low phase noise, PLL-based Frequency Translation devices and additional custom integrated product solutions.
