Shred-Trucks from Vecoplan will be starring in the Greensboro Jaycees' "SHREDFEST" fundraiser on Saturday April 26. The event will be held at 123 Lewis Street – the Rail Yard Parking Lot, across from The Worx Restaurant. SHREDFEST will provide secure document destruction to individuals and small businesses for .50 cents a pound with a $5 minimum. Funds raised at the event will be used throughout the year for the many charitable projects undertaken by the Greensboro Jaycees.
In addition to donating two Vecoplan shred trucks for the day, a VST-42e and a new "Shorty" non-CDL truck, Vecoplan will also provide personnel to operate the trucks and help with logistics for the event. "People are always impressed with how small the shred size is. Vecoplan's trucks shred confidential papers down to almost confetti-size, and that'll be a big part of the event's success," stated Mike Maloy, Vecoplan's contact at the Greensboro Jaycees.
VECOPLAN shredding and recycling equipment is the preferred choice for most industrial applications in the secure destruction industry, plastics processing and recycling industries, printing and converting industries, woodworking industries, biomass and alternative fuels industries, as well as general waste processing and recovery industries.
