New Easy-To-Read Vertical Flowmeters
MILFORD, CT -- New vertical liquid and gas flowmeters from Orange Research have large, bold dials that provide flow readings at a glance. They easily replace rotameters, which often have small scales that are difficult to read, especially with dirty or opaque fluids. Great for OEMs -- they eliminate common customer complaints about readability.
A wide range of flow rates can be measured with Orange Research's variable-area flowmeter design, in which a magnet/cone sensor rests in a precision orifice and is deflected by fluid flow. As flow increases, the dial pointer -- magnetically coupled to the sensor --indicates the flow rate on an easy-to-read linear scale. Magnetic coupling isolates the pointer and dial case from the process stream, eliminating any leakage or environmental contamination problems.
Models are available in aluminum, stainless steel, or brass construction with dial faces from 2.5 to 4.5 inches in diameter.
Series 2220 and 2320 flowmeters measure from 1 to 10 GPM on liquids and 1.5 to 100 SCFM on gases at line pressures up to 5,000 psi. Choose from flowmeter, switch and transmitter options.
Series 2420 flowmeters are designed for higher liquid flow rates of up to 30 GPM at line pressures to 1500 psi. Combine the flowmeters with one or two switches or choose the switch-only models.
