Parker Introduces DX Valves As Economical Alternative For ISO 5599-1 Applications

The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation has introduced the DX Series valves in ISO sizes 01 and 02 as a cost-effective alternative for applications where a standard ISO 5599-1 valve would be too large. Some of these applications include automotive, medical, packaging, material handling, and for any OEM shipping products globally. All valves utilize a ceramic-slide technology design capable of delivering 100 million cycles, minimum for exceptional reliability. The ceramic spool technology is self-lubricating and can be run with or without lubrication.

The Parker DX01 valve is 26mm wide and the DX02 is 18mm wide. Their compact, modular design makes it easy for end-users and distributors to configure manifolds easily. Both valves feature gasket selectors for field conversions from internal-to-external pilot and for capturing pilot exhaust. The DX series valves are available in solenoid and remote pilot options, and in 24 VDC and 120 VAC. The operating pressure range is from 13 psi to 174 psi, with working temperatures from +14° F to +140° F. The DX01 series has flow rate of 0.85 Cv and the DX02 has a flow rate of 0.50 Cv.
