Humphrey Nereus Model HK5 Valve Offers High Performance, Versatility
The Humphrey Nereus(R) Model HK5 Valve is compact single solenoid diaphragm-poppet valve offering high performance, versatility and economy. This lightweight valve features multiple porting configurations, allowing it to be used as a 2-way or 3-way, normally open or normally closed standard fill/exhaust valve, or as a selector or diverter. Valves can be mounted and plumbed in a variety of ways on a subbase or manifold, with various electrical connector options available.
The Nereus HK5 features Humphrey's proven diaphragm-poppet valve design, which has no sliding seals, no metal-to-metal contact and requires no lubrication. The valve has a direct solenoid with an isolated coil having minimal armature travel for fast
response time, and is available in a choice of 4.5, 12 or 24VDC coil voltages with a choice of 0.8 watt DC (low power) or 1.5 watt DC power consumption. The valve has a flow rate of 3.0 SCFM @100 psig, and a vacuum/pressure range of 28" Hg to 100 psig
at 32 deg to +125 deg F (0 deg to + 50 deg C).
