Press Release Summary:
Capable of carrying materials up to 900ºF, High Temperature Line Vac conveyors use vacuum to create in-line conveying systems for hot gases, soot, ashes, and debris. Conveying rates are controlled by regulation of compressed air pressure, which is first ejected into hoses or tubes to create vacuum. Featuring corrosion and contamination resistant 303 stainless steel construction, units are available in 5 sizes ranging from ¾-2 in.
Original Press Release:
Low Cost Conveyor for Materials up to 900°F
EXAIR's new High Temperature Line Vac Conveyors convert hose or tube into a powerful in-line conveying system for high temperature materials up to 900ºF (482ºC). These air operated conveyors feature large throat diameters for maximum throughput capability.
The High Temperature Line Vac Conveyors eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end, resulting in high output flows on the other. The response is instantaneous. Regulating the compressed air pressure provides infinite control of the conveying rate. High Temperature Line Vac is available in five sizes from 3/4" to 2". Construction is durable type 303 stainless steel to resist high temperature, corrosion and contamination. Optional type 316 stainless steel is also available. Applications include sampling hot flue gases, exhausting fumes, conveying soot, ashes and hot debris. Other models for hopper loading, scrap trim removal, tablet transfer and packaging are available. Prices start at $284.
