Tiny UV Quartz Lamps Have Huge Life Span!

Westbury, New York - Spectroline® 11SC-1 and 11SC-2 ultraviolet quartz lamps deliver high-output UV radiation, making them ideal for use as spectral calibration sources in spectroscopy, chromatography and photometry, as well as many other laboratory and industrial applications. Custom-designed UV quartz lamps for OEM equipment are also available.

These short wave UV (254nm) low-pressure, mercury-vapor discharge lamps are made of double-bore quartz material and have both electrodes at one end. They're only 1/4" (6 mm) in diameter and provide outstanding UV transmission, stable output and cool operation.

The 11SC-1 lamp has a 2 1/8" (5.3 cm) lighted length tube and delivers an average 254nm intensity of 4,500 µW/cm² at 1" (2.5 cm). It's only 5" (12.7 cm) long.

The lighted length tube of the 11SC-2 model is 3/4" (1.9 cm). It provides an average 254nm intensity of 2,000 µW/cm² at 1". It's just 3½" (8.9 cm) long.
