Hercules(TM) Multicolor UV Printer Builds on Its 20-year History with New Features
CHICAGO, IL USA, September 10, 2003 - The American M&M Hercules(TM)--with more than 100 units in operation worldwide and a 20-plus year history of solid performance--continues to enhance its proven multicolor UV technology with a host of new features, including instant servicing, larger print sizes, faster production rates, and improved print quality.
Recently added to the A.W.T. World Trade Group product line, the Hercules is now supported by Remote Diagnostics, A.W.T. World Trade's industry-leading instant worldwide service feature, which can reduce downtime by as much as 80 percent. The Hercules's new range of print formats include 25x38" (63.5 x 96.52cm), 30x40" (76.2 x 101.6cm), 38x52" (96.52 x 132.08cm), and a large print size previously unavailable with any multicolor UV print system: 50x75" (127 x 190.5cm).
Now enhanced by twin lamps in the final curing station, the Hercules's 400-Watt UV curing system dramatically increases production output. The UV system's Inteli-Guard(TM) feature reduces power consumption and heat build-up, while extending lamp life. Printing upgrades include an exclusive up-front peel control for easy adjustments. Mechanical improvements include brush-less AC motors with inverter-control system on each head and the availability of either electro-mechanical or Servo drive indexer.
The improved Hercules utilizes minimal floor space and allows printers to produce up to 600 pieces per hour; proof jobs instantly after one cycle; and simultaneously print two-sided jobs, double-up on the same job, or run two or more different jobs.
