Systematic Automation Inc. Farmington CT. has introduced the new Ultra Light Advanced Ultraviolet Curing System for curing inks, adhesives and coatings. The unit provides 400 watts per inch of UV power and is controlled by a touch screen panel. The unit is capable of running iron additive lamps along with standard mercury vapor lamps.

The company has engineered a method of uniformly cooling the lamp and lamp reflector housing. A method of utilizing light energy that normally turns to heat in the area above the UV lamp is incorporated to provide an additional 20% of UV energy. Safety devices include low voltages for switches and control panel operation. Non-conductive and grounded cables to the irradiator, a built in main power disconnect and internal temperature sensors.
