Wago Introduces Din Rail Mount Utility Outlet
Germantown, WI, Sept. 2002 - The new WAGO Utility Outlet is a convenient power source in control cabinets for connecting test equipment, lighting, solder irons, laptops, etc. At only 60 mm wide, the compact DIN rail mount design offers an easy, space-saving installation. Labor and cost savings are also realized since the unit comes pre-assembled, thus eliminating the need to purchase the box and outlet separately and assemble them prior to installation.
The WAGO 826 feed through terminal block provides the power input, featuring the CAGE CLAMP connection technology that ensures a fast, error and maintenance-free connection. With the 826 terminal block, the WAGO outlet also features built-in test points and color-coded marking capabilities to ensure safe wiring. As an additional safety feature, the ground pin on the receptacles is positioned at the top to prevent loose metal objects from shorting the hot and neutral pins together.
