New Series Of Ergonomic And Low Profile Service Carts Introduced By Hodge Division/Durham
A new series of ergonomic and low profile, two-shelf general utility carts has been introduced by Hodge Division of The Durham Manufacturing Company, Durham CT 06422. They are designed for use in any commercial or industrial environment where there is a need for the transportation of packages, small parts and miscellaneous goods.
Both the ergonomic and low profile models feature heavy duty, all-welded construction. Shelves are of 14 gauge steel and offer 1200 lb. weight bearing capacity. Five and one quarter inch polyurethane swivel casters are provided; 2 rigid, 2 swivel. Finished in durable gray powder coat, the units are shipped fully assembled and ready for use.
The ergonomic models are available in 4 sizes ranging from 24 inches deep by 48 inches wide by 35 inches high to 30 inches deep by 60 inches wide by 35 inches high. The handle is ergonomically designed. Both shelf lips are 1 ½ inches up for product retention.
The low profile models are also available in 4 sizes, from 18 inches deep by 30 inches wide by 27 inches high to 30 inches deep by 60 inches wide by 27 inches high.
The handle is tubular, raised offset 10 inches above the flush top shelf. The bottom shelf has lips 1 ½ inches up.
