Original Press Release:

New 14-bit USB DAS with 24 DIO and Free Software

CyberResearch® cracks another price/performance barrier with its new URDAQ series of USB data-acquisition modules. These new units are priced comparably to prior units, but offer twice the speed, twice the number of D/A channels, and one third more DIO. And there's no charge for development software.

New URDAQ data-acquisition modules from CyberResearch, Inc. offer the specifications that most engineers and scientists have been looking for: 14-bit resolution on both A/D and D/A channels, 250 kHz A/D speed, 500 Hz D/A speed, a 16-sample channel-gain queue, software-selectable gains from 0.25 to 100, and 24 digital I/O lines for control and monitoring.

New URDAQ modules are equipped with handy DB-25M connectors for all A/D, D/A, and DIO lines, so cabling is very easy and straightforward. Optional stepped screw-terminal panels plug right into the DB-25M connectors, so you can bring individual lines right to the module. And industry-standard DB-25 cables are easily available to connect with remote terminal panels.

URDAQ modules come complete with DataWin(TM) for Windows® and EDRE applications builder, plus free drivers for LabVIEW®, TestPoint®, and Agilent VEE®.

In addition to USB DAS - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers panel-mount, rack-mount, and desktop PCs, as well as CPU cards, data-acquisition cards, and motion-control systems. For more information, call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit www.cyberresearch.com.
