Revco® Super Insulation Technology Increases Freezer Storage Capacities
ASHEVILLE, N.C., May 30,2003 - New REVCO® SUPER INSULATION -86°C ultra-low temperature upright freezers enable laboratories to store more samples without taking up additional lab space. Advanced thin wall SUPER INSULATION increases interior volume when compared with conventional freezers of an equivalent size, giving laboratories significantly more capacity for safe sample storage in compact, space-saving, upright cabinets.
REVCO 11, 25 and 32 cu. ft. SUPER INSULATION freezers set the standard for capacity, performance and floor space efficiency in critical materials storage. The space saving 11 cu. ft model holds 11,800 sample vials, while the 25 cu. ft. model holds 20% more inventory than an equivalent-sized conventional freezer. The 32 cu. ft. unit can accommodate an unprecedented 70,000 vials in 2" boxes with 100 cell dividers.
Ultima(TM) II Series 25 and 32 cu. ft. models feature the advanced IntrLogic(TM) microprocessor controller for sophisticated control, alarm and monitoring, and are also equipped with the CryoLatch(TM) security latch system, providing keyed access and provision for a padlock. Dependable refrigeration technology is standard across all models for outstanding sample security and optimal performance, even in demanding environments.
SUPER INSULATION -86°C upright freezers are fitted with an innovative Pressure Equalization Port for easy door opening. Comprehensive inventory systems provide easy access to stored materials, and a range of options includes temperature recorders and remote alarm systems.
