UNI-A Universal Crimp Applicator
The new Schleuniger UNI-A applicator is designed for use with side and end feed banded terminals with either open or closed barrel construction. The innovative, one piece design results in better tooling alignment, fewer parts, simpler adjustments, a significant reduction in weight and a better price.
The body and base are machined from a single block of metal. This assures the highest precision in the alignment of the crimp tooling and increases the overall durability and life of the applicator.
The UNI-A features easy (tool-less) adjustments of both insulation and wire crimp heights. Handling and set up has never been easier. The backstroke adjustment is eliminated by use of a special feed cam designed specifically for the terminal. The forward-stroke and bellmouth adjustments can easily be made while the applicator is still mounted in the press.
The UNI-A applicator can be used in both 30 mm and 40 mm stroke presses. It is suitable for use on automatic wire processing systems as well as on benchtop presses.
