Powerful UV Lamp Pinpoints AC&R Leaks in Direct Sunlight!
Westbury, New York - Spectronics Corporation has unveiled its ultra-powerful Spectroline® Maxima(TM)ML-3500 black light lamp (patent pending). This revolutionary lamp makes fluorescent dyes glow much brighter. Now technicians can pinpoint all leaks in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems better than ever -- even in broad daylight!
The Maxima 3500 is designed with Micro Discharge Light (MDL) technology. It's unique filter and bulb reflector enable the lamp to produce 10 times more UV black light than conventional inspection lamps with bulbs of over 100 watts.
The lamp has an instant on/off/restrike, which reduces inspection time significantly by eliminating lamp warm up. It is not affected by magnetic fields ... produces virtually zero emission of hazardous UV-B at 15" (38cm) ... emits minimum visible light ... and has a dent- and shock-resistant housing. The bulb is prefocused at the factory to ensure optimum performance.
The Maxima 3500 is so strong that, when used with Spectroline AR-GLO® fluorescent dye, it can detect even intermittent and elusive leaks in rooftop units. The ergonomic design, stay-cool hand grip and light weight of the lamp - only 2½ lbs (1.1 kg) - allow inspectors to hold it for long periods without stress or fatigue.
The Maxima 3500 provides the safest bulb/reflector assembly replacement of any high intensity lamp. The assembly is a single integral unit with no exposed circuitry. A new unit can be installed in seconds - without tools and without risk of shock!
