Non-Invasive Clamp-On Ultrasonic Level Switch
The Cosense Visi Vue(TM)/Sonic Eye(TM) is a new and revolutionary means of monitoring a predefined high / low -level point in liquid storage vessels non-invasively with continuous self-check. The system utilizes two sonic transducers with stainless steel housings mounted on the outside of the tank wall to determine if liquid is present within the vessel at that point. The complete system includes a pair of stainless steel transducers, state of the art microprocessor based electronics housed in the user's choice of NEMA 4, 4X or explosion proof enclosure and 50 ft of cable. The Visi Vue(TM)/Sonic Eye(TM) can be used on vessels/tubing from 1/16" (1.6mm) over 100 ft (31 m) in diameter. Vessel wall thickness can vary from 1/16" (1.6 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) with materials ranging from stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, glass, plastics and even wood. Applicable liquids include petroleum products, corrosive / non-corrosive chemicals, water / water based products, paints. Temperature range for standard sensors is -40 F to +160 F. Output options include 10 amp relays. Manual verification-testing feature available. Calibration is automatic upon installation.
