The eBOX647-FL, a cost-effective application-ready platform, features fanless operation, low power consumption, and easy access mechanism
Taipei, Taiwan, May 6, 2008- AXIOMTEK is pleased to release the eBOX647-FL, a fanless and cost-effective embedded computer, which supports an onboard low power VIA C7 1.5 GHz processor with the VIA CX700 single-chip core logic controller. The eBOX647-FL features compact-size, multiple I/O, easy access mechanism, and a unique anti-vibration and thermal solutions, which make it an especially solution for industrial automation, digital signage application (DSA), gaming and vehicle applications.
Protected by an extremely rugged aluminum housing in the size of 200 x 150 x 52.8 mm (7.87" x 5.90" x 2.07"), the eBOX647-FL can be used in space-limited and harsh environments. For convenient assembly, the fanless embedded box computer has access door at the bottom to easy access RAM and CompactFlash(TM) card. Additionally, its friendly fanless design and unique thermal solution support the eBOX647-FL to operate without noise and in critical environments at temperature from 0°C to 50°C. This durable embedded computer offers excellent vibration resistance up to 2Grms (with CompactFlash(TM)) for stable and extreme reliable operations.

The eBOX647-FL is an all-in-one yet cost-effective embedded computer featuring rich I/O connections including two high speed USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, one fast Ethernet, VGA, one PS/2 connector, LPT and audio. Additionally, the eBOX647-FL supports various embedded operating systems including Windows® CE, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux.
