UEI Announces the Addition of Flying Probe Testing Capabilities

WHITEWATER, Wis. - Universal Electronics, Inc. (UEI) has increased its in-house testing capabilities by adding a SPEA Flying Probe tester. With this latest investment in state-of-the-art electronics testing, UEI now has a full range of testing services that is supported by a team of experienced test engineers.
The Flying Probe enables UEI to increase its capability in prototypes while providing quicker turnaround times, and assuring quality in the manufacturing process with enhanced accuracy and diagnostic depth. It can help reduce start-up and tooling costs until a design is stable and ready for manufacturing.
UEI testing services now include In-Circuit Testing (ICT), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), x-ray, functional testing, and Flying Probe. UEI has developed test strategies for a wide range of products over the past 30 years, giving our engineers extensive experience that is used to develop comprehensive test methodologies for products in many market segments.
