Twinhead Features Super-Tough Notebook Computers at GTC West 2007 Show

FREMONT, Calif., May 17 /-- Twinhead Corporation, a global leader in the design, manufacture and sales of award-winning, build-to-order, portable notebook computers, today announced it will feature three of its latest Durabook products as well as one Slimnote product at the Government Technology Conference West 2007 Show. The featured models, like all notebooks in the Twinhead product line, combine elegant style with lightweight portability and a rugged quality not typically found in notebooks.

Attendees visiting the Twinhead table will see the Durabook D13RY, D14RY and N15RI models. The Durabook D13RY features state-of-the-art multi-media technology in a design that is built for today's mobile computing environment. The product packs the latest Intel Centrino Dual Core technology and a brilliant 13.3" Wide Screen LCD display. The audio is powered by 24-Bit output and is compliant to the latest high definition audio standards. The D13RY also comes standard with a 1.3 Mega-pixel Web Camera to provide for live on-screen communication, and incorporates all the necessary connectivity as well as a Smart Card socket and a 4 in 1 Media Card Reader. The Durabook D14RY has similar features to the D13RY, and features a Durabrite 14.1" XGA TFT display. Both units are protected with a lightweight magnesium alloy top and bottom case, a spill resistant keyboard and insulation around the keyboard and system switches to protect from accidental spills. The Hard Disk is protected by anti-shock material to protect vital data from drop and concussion.

The Durabook N15RI features the Intel Pentium(R) M 780 (2.26GHz) CPU, and is engineered to perform best and safely under real world computing conditions. It comes with a 15.1 XGA TFT display and features a drop resistant, 20-times-harder than plastic, alloy base case while anti-shock mounting material protects the LCD screen and hard drive from damage and data loss. Spill resistant keyboard, touch pad and scroll buttons keep water spills away from internal components.

All Durabook notebook models meet the military 810F specification for drop resistance, and pass U.S. military standards for shock and spill resistance as well. With Twinhead's anti-shock mounting design, all Durabooks provide additional protection for critical components, such as the LCD, RAM, Intel-powered CPU and HDD.

Attendees will also see Twinhead's new Slimnote N12PY. The product is a lightweight and stylish high performance wireless notebook with great connectivity. The slim unit with a 12.1" XGA TFT display features Intel(R) Centrino(TM) Dual-Core mobile technology and supports DDRII SDRAM.

The Government Technology West 2007 show is being held May 14-18 at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, California. It is the largest technology expo for government professionals in California.
