TURBO(TM) Sortation System Sales Take Off

Spring Lake, Michigan - Since TGW-ERMANCO introduced the TURBO Sortation System in January, the company has shipped three TURBO Systems and has received orders for several more. The TURBO is the newest version of TGW-ERMANCO'S successful NBS(TM) narrow belt sorter that is in operation at over 300 sites. The TURBO boosts NBS sortation throughput to 200 cpm with WAVE(TM) technology* and COMMANDER(TM) System Controls. At 200 cpm, the TURBO is an economical alternative to sliding shoe sorters in the 100-200 cpm range. Besides having a much lower initial cost, total cost of ownership is less than shoe sorter technologies because of lower maintenance and repair costs. Reasons for choosing the TURBO that customers cited include high throughput for the price, flexible product handling capabilities, ease of installation, and the simplicity and reliability of narrow belt sortation.
