Turbine Flow Meters feature linear analog output.

Press Release Summary:

Available with US or metric ports, Series CT provides 4-20 mA or 0-5 Vdc output. Units measure flow and optionally simultaneous pressure and temperature signals on mobile or industrial hydraulic systems. Four O-ring port sizes from No. 8-24 SAE cover flow ranges from 7-200 gpm at working pressures to 7,000 psi and operating temperature to 250°F. Optional bidirectional load valve features built-in safety discs, which bypass overpressure oil internally through valve.

New Turbine Flow Meters with Linear Analog Output

Milwaukee, WI. --- Webster Instruments has introduced a new, turbine flow sensor with industry standard 4-20 mA or 0-5 VDC linear analog output. The CT series turbine flow meters
are available with either U.S. or metric ports and optional built-in bidirectional load valve. Four O-ring port sizes from #8 SAE to #24 SAE cover flow ranges from 7 gpm to 200 gpm at
working pressures to 7000 psi and operating temperature to 250° F. The CT series provides accurate measurement of flow and optionally simultaneous pressure and temperature signals on mobile or industrial hydraulic systems.

An optional bidirectional load valve features built-in safety discs which by-pass overpressure oil internally through the valve, not externally. The load valve is pressure balanced for low handle effort and excellent tactile feedback over the entire flow and pressure range. It can be used to safely simulate working pressures in the hydraulic circuit so that valve settings, internal leakage of components, pump load-sense, pressure compensator setting or efficiency can be quickly and easily determined. A shuttle valve is built-in the load valve model for high pressure sensing regardless of flow direction.

Pressure and temperature sensors can also be fitted in the flow block. Temperature signal can be obtained via the new TP200V temperature transmitter. Flow, Pressure and Temperature signals are industry standard for easy integration with hardware such as PLCs, data acquisition boards, X-Y recorders or panel displays.
