Schneider Electric Expands Line of Smart, Tubular Proximity Sensors
PALATINE, Ill. - DECEMBER 1, 2005 - The Telemecanique® XS6 line of auto-adaptable inductive proximity sensors from Schneider Electric incorporates a self-teach mechanism to simplify set-up. As part of the Osiconcept(TM) family of smart, simple-to-use photoelectric and proximity sensors and limit switches, the XS6 is a complete line of fully shielded metal body cylindrical inductive proximity sensors with an increased sensing range.
The XS6 is available in 8, 12, 18 and 30 mm sizes; all but the 8mm version have self-teach capabilities. Options include both two-wire AC/DC and three-wire DC, with normally open or normally closed outputs and cable or connector versions, as well as PNP or NPN in DC models.
