Original Press Release:

No More Frayed or Broken Cables

April 1, 2003 The new Model "C" Tubular Drag conveyor from HAPMAN is engineered with an innovative chain design - not cables. Provides gentle handling with practically no degradation while maintaining a totally enclosed system. The moderate duty Model "C" conveyor is built with the same engineering integrity of Hapman's heavy-duty models, which are well know for their long life, and low maintenance performance - yet it is lower in cost and designed to handle up to 15 cfm. A direct replacement for conventional cable conveyors and has the distinct advantage of eliminating the cost and aggravation associated with frayed cables (which can also contaminate your process). The Model "C" conveyor is yet another one of Hapman's "ideas that move" in powder and bulk material handling.
