TRX Releases RESX V6.2 and SELEX Agent Desktop V3.2 with Features Designed to Make System Administration Easier and Faster

PNR Synchronization Functionality Enables Agencies and Corporations To Consolidate and Access Reservations from Outside Booking Sources through RESX and SELEX Agent Desktop

ATLANTA, Nov. 21 -- TRX, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRXI), a leading, independent provider of transaction processing and data integration services to the global travel industry, today announced the release of new versions of its RESX corporate online reservation tool and SELEX Agent Desktop agency booking platform.

RESX is a leading self-service, online booking tool that allows corporate travelers to make policy-compliant travel reservations. The SELEX Agent Desktop is an inventory source-agnostic desktop tool designed for agent-assisted bookings. New versions of RESX and SELEX Agent Desktop include features that focus on making the administration of the tools faster and easier.

Both releases also include PNR synchronization functionality, which automatically imports travelers' reservations made over the phone or through other booking channels into the RESX and SELEX Agent Desktop database without manual intervention. Once a traveler has a confirmed reservation stored in any GDS, RESX and SELEX Agent Desktop automatically make those reservations available to travelers and agents for review, edit, or reporting. With access to offline reservations, travelers and administrators have a central location to view and change reservations whether booked online or offline. Convenient, online access to online and offline reservations provides corporate travel managers and agencies with increased reporting effectiveness and enables a more comprehensive view of a company's reservation activity.

Additional enhancements to versions 6.2 and 3.2 of the RESX and SELEX Agent Desktop tools include upgrades that enable administrators to run historical activity reports pulling from two years of travel data, increase Worldspan pricing options, and add look-up list features.

TRX Executive Vice President, Sales & Client Services, Shane Hammond, said, "RESX v6.2 and SELEX Agent Desktop v3.2 improve the usability of the tools, in particular for system administrators. We are excited by our clients' response to the latest releases. We are now shifting gears and getting ready for our beta release of the new RESX user interface scheduled for beta testing this month and deployment in January 2007."

RESX and the SELEX Agent Desktop leverage shared reservation technology as well as policy and profile layers. Both applications provide one-stop access to fragmented inventory, allowing one reservation, one itinerary, and one passenger name record (PNR) to include multiple travel segments regardless of inventory source. For example, travelers and agents are able to make a reservation that includes the air segments from a GDS new entrant (GNE), a hotel reservation from a consolidator Website, and a car rental from a global distribution system (GDS) - and receive one confirmed itinerary that includes all trip components.

RESX v6.2 is the last release prior to launch of the anticipated RESX redesign, which includes a new user interface, updated workflow, improved navigation, an air pricing matrix, and a new user profile display. One of the first online booking tools to incorporate Web 2.0 protocols throughout the booking experience, RESX v6.3 will provide travelers with an intuitive booking process similar to consumer online booking tools, yet have the power of RESX's industry-leading configuration, policy enforcement, and administration.
