Trumba Delivers New Online Service to Publish and Syndicate Events to Any Calendar

Trumba Can Now Easily Integrate Event Communications, Updates and Event Listings With Yahoo! Calendar in Addition to Other Calendar Services

SEATTLE, Dec. 5 / -- Trumba Corporation, creator of online calendar publishing and communications solutions, today delivered a new service that will for the first time enable the publishing of event listings in a format compatible with the vast majority of calendars in use, including the leading online consumer calendar, Yahoo! Calendar*.

Trumba technologies provide the bridge between different online and electronic calendars by translating event information created in one program for other popular programs. This new 'rosetta stone' approach enables organizations to publish event information that integrates with more than 90% of personal calendars in use today and enables consumers to add events to the calendar application of their choice.

"Trumba envisions a world where calendar information will flow seamlessly between people, regardless of the application or service being used," said Jeremy Jaech, CEO of Trumba. "Organizations want to communicate calendar and event information as easily as they can send e-mail today."

The new service will be demonstrated this week at When 2.0., the influential technology conference that features online breakthroughs and is hosted by tech visionary Esther Dyson. With today's announcement, Trumba has integrated with Yahoo! Calendar, and, as before, event publishers can also easily and seamlessly deliver event information to anyone using MSN Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, or any iCalendar** compatible calendar client.

With the launch of its OneCalendar(TM) publishing service earlier this year, Trumba is enabling all types of organizations and event communicators to increase event awareness and attendance in a cost-effective way. Event Actions is free service to consumers and is made available by event publishers and organizers through Trumba OneCalendar.
