Treehouse Software Introduces tcVISION, Powerful Mainframe Data Replication / Synchronization Solution, through Agreement with B.O.S. Software

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 18 - Treehouse Software, Inc., (TSI) of Sewickley, PA today announced that it has entered into an agreement with B.O.S. Software Service und Vertrieb GmbH, of Haar, Germany, to provide worldwide sales and marketing for B.O.S.'s tcVISION product.

tcVISION delivers powerful, highly-efficient real-time and batch Change Data Capture (CDC) capabilities to automatically extract changes in DB2, VSAM, IMS/DB, DL/I, Adabas, CA-IDMS/DB and CA-Datacom/DB databases -- and even sequential files. These changes can then be replicated to other databases, message queues and applications on any platform in support of legacy data integration, transformation and migration, and event publishing. Benefits include realization of new opportunities, and cost savings through shrinking time windows for data exchange, lowering resource utilization and reducing IT development and support efforts.

"TSI has led the Adabas replication and integration market through over 12 years of constant innovation and customer satisfaction," said Wayne Lashley, TSI Chief Operating Officer. "tcVISION represents a natural extension of our capabilities into other mainframe databases and across various mainframe operating systems. We feel a great synergy with B.O.S., and are proud to introduce tcVISION to our worldwide customer base and to new customers that will be delighted with our outstanding offerings and exceptional support."

Elisabeth Schwarz, CEO of B.O.S., added, "We are most pleased to have TSI, with its excellent reputation and technical competence, bring tcVISION to market in North America and elsewhere. Together, B.O.S. and TSI will enable customers with large investments in mainframe-based applications to maximize these investments through our comprehensive and robust CDC technology."
