Transporter Lifts and Rotates Containers for Easy Access

PORTLAND, ME - The Container Transporter/Rotator from Southworth Products Corp. combines three functions in one machine. It can be used to transport containers from a staging area, to a work cell and back again. While in the work cell the unit will raise a 1,500 lb. load up to 35" and rotate it with side tilting forks up to 90° in either direction. Lift and tilt are controlled independently so containers can be positioned at a comfortable working height for any size worker.

The unit is ideally suited for use with "drop gate" style containers. Because there is no mast to reach over, workers can "walk into" containers to access even the deepest parts without bending, reaching, or stretching. The tilt function is operated by a remote control so workers can adjust loads as layers are removed without having to walk around the unit.

Two models are available. The CTR-15-ME features manual drive and powered lift. The CTR-15-EE features powered drive and powered lift. A wide straddle base allows them to work with any style container, even those with closed bottoms.
