Original Press Release:
+GF+ SIGNET ProcessPro(TM) Level Transmitters Provide Turn-Key System Solution for Level Sensing Measurement
TUSTIN, Calif. - Nov. 16, 2001 - The new +GF+ SIGNET 8250 ProcessPro(TM) Level Transmitters, designed for use with +GF+ SIGNET Pressure, Magnetostrictive and Ultrasonic Level Sensors, provide an industry first turn-key continuous level measurement system solution.
The 8250 Transmitters feature single or dual-channel input with one 4 to 20mA output for each input channel. All outputs are fully scaleable and reversible. The transmitters also come equipped with two relays and the ability to support two additional externally mounted relays - for a total of four. Automatic level-to-volume conversion offers flexibility in
display and control of tank level and/or volume in user selectable units such as gallons, kilograms, feet or meters. These high performance microprocessor-based transmitters offer
quick and simple front panel push-button setup and configuration with the "easy menu" design.
"The new ProcessPro Transmitters complement our comprehensive Level Family offering and broad range of other instrumentation to provide users with a total measuremnent system approach previously unavailable from a singe source supplier," said Martin Neil, +GF+ SIGNET Product Marketing Manager.
Ideally suited for continuous level and volume monitoring requirements, the new instruments can be used locally or remotely up to 400 feet to display multi-level (two) or level/volumne read-outs. And like all ProcessPro units, the 8250 is available in either field or panel mount configurations for installation versatility. The transmitters conform to industry standards and approvals including CSA, CE and UL, and are housed in a NEMA 4X/1P65 enclosure.
