Control Company's new Type-K Workhorse(TM) Thermometer provides a sharp readout in dim and very bright light, long battery life (150 to 200 continuous hours), high accuracy, wide temperature range, and a new chip design for an ultra low cost.
Type-K range is -58.0 to 2372°F and -50.0 to 1300°C. Resolution is 0.1° between -50.0 to 200.0 and 1° elsewhere. Meter accuracy is ±(1°C + .75%) between 0 to 500°C; ± (1°C + 1%) 500 to 750°C; ±(1°C + 2%) 750 to 1000°C; ±(3°C + 4%) 1000 to 1200°C; ±2°C at -20; ±3°C at -40; ±4°C at -50.
Recessed front panel adjustable offset allow user to adjust thermometer exactly to a specific temperature, in-house calibration, or a particular sensor for increased accuracy. HOLD Button freezes the display to capture current reading. It is compatible with all type-K probes.
To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
Supplied with fast response Type-K probe, bench stand, 9-volt battery, and carrying case. Probe diameter is 1/8 inch, stem length is 3 1/8 inches, overall length 5 inches and a cable length of 40 inches. Size is 2 3/4 x 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches and weight is 6 ounces.
