Wausau Paper Introduces New OptiServ(TM) Hands-Free Roll Towel Dispensing System
Harrodsburg, KY - September 15, 2005 - Wausau Paper has introduced the newly patented OptiServ(TM) hands-free dispensing system in the Bay West® product line. The OptiServ(TM) dispenser offers hands-free dispensing with controlled usage. There are no levers or buttons to touch on the OptiServ(TM) dispenser which reduces cross-contamination from these commonly used surfaces. The OptiServ(TM) has a quiet dispensing mechanism that cuts a pre-measured 11-inch towel with each pull. This encourages users to take only the toweling that is needed, thereby reducing waste and cost. The OptiServ(TM) dispenser accommodates up to an 800-foot roll towel along with a 4-inch stub roll to optimize the dispenser's capacity.

The new OptiServ(TM) hands-free dispenser features an elegant curved design as well as a side-hinged door which provides ease when servicing and loading roll towels in the dispenser. The OptiServ(TM) dispenser is available in five translucent color choices (black, red, green, blue and white) to coordinate with our recently introduced Revolution(TM) and Dubl-Serv® tissue dispensers. The OptiServ(TM) can also be custom labeled with a company name, logo or identity for a unique facility appearance. Paper is easily dispensed from the OptiServ(TM) with one hand and with less than five pounds of force to comply with the ADA Standards for Accessible Design. In addition, the hands-free dispensing supports the principles of HACCP as users touch only the paper when dispensing a towel.
