Completely Wash Down, High Performance Touch Screen PC
noax Technologies has introduced the all-in-one monitor and computer system in stainless steel enclosures. These completely sealed S series touch PCs thrives in the harshest wash-down environments.
The S series is a completely sealed high-performance consumption touch computer terminal. The stainless steel enclosure is ideally suited for wash-down or dusty/dirty industrial environments. The base configuration is equipped with a color LCD screen 24-bit color TFT (1024 x 768 XGA) up to 15-inch resistive touch screen and a Pentium M 1.4 GHz processor. The hard drive comes complete with Microsoft Windows XP operating system preinstalled (XP embedded optional). A built in micro processor acts as a house keeping system to protect the PC from damage when "out of limit" conditions accur.
noax has also released a versatile and affordable (lower performance) Thin Client terminal, designed for industrial environments that are subject to wash-downs. The S series Thin Client is are terminals with a Celeron M 600 MHz processor and color LCD screen TFT 15-inch resistive touch screen. A tiltable mounting bracket that can be wall or desktop-mounted is optional. All necessary ports are available to connect peripherals such as industrial keyboard, barcode reader, proximity reader, etc.
Both computers feature PXE boot function, two extensions slots, Ethernet, USB 1.0 and 2.0, and much more. As an option, a WLAN 802.11g network interface can be ordered.
