Taipei, Taiwan, January 12, 2009-- AXIOMTEK is pleased to introduce the GOT-5840TL, an 8.4" super-slim touch panel computer with only 44mm in thickness, which supports an ultra low power AMD LX800 500 MHz processor with fanless operation. The GOT-5840TL adopts a rugged NEMA 4 / IP65 compliant plastic front bezel, and is equipped with an 8.4" SVGA TFT LCD with resolution up to 800 x 600 pixels. Furthermore, this super-slim touch panel computer is equipped with one MiniPCI slot for expansion availability, and also has a CompactFlash(TM) card for storage capability. The GOT-5840TL is the best solution for factory automation, machine maker operating systems and building automation.
The 8.4-inch cost-effective touch panel computer is designed fanless, which can suit for rugged environments. With its NEMA 4 / IP65 front panel, the ruggized panel system can resist the harsh conditions of most industrial environments. This durable all-in-one panel computer also offers excellent vibration resistance up to 2Grms (with CompactFlash(TM)) for stable and extreme reliable operations. Additionally, the super-light GOT-5840TL provides a fuse to protect system from being damaged by over-current.

The GOT-5840TL provides a MiniPCI slot for wireless expansions. By simply plugging in a wireless LAN card, customers can use the touch panel PC in wireless network environment. An optional rotational WLAN antenna is available. Furthermore, the GOT-5840TL provides users with many different I/O interfaces such as two COM ports, one fast Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, one MiniPCI slot, and an audio. There are accessories such as desktop stand, VESA arm, panel mount kit, and wall mount kit available for any installation needs.
