Touch International Unveils Plan to Boost Touch Screen Optics and Performance at Display Week 2011
Austin, Texas - Outlining a plan to boost its customizable resistive and projected capacitive touch screen lines, Touch International announced today at Display Week 2011 in Los Angeles, Calif., it will be leveraging its newly-opened manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China, to build lighter, brighter touch screen systems with tighter, micro-etched borders.
Details of the touch screen improvements include:
1) Lighter durable designs, through the use of specialized materials, such as Gorilla and borosilicate glass.
2) Increased brightness with indexed matched films for optimal light transparency.
3) Tighter micro-etched borders with 25 micron lines to allow for narrower borders, smaller package sizes, larger touch screens and better touch performance.
