Cost-Efficient Testing with Magtrol's New TMB Torque Transducer
Buffalo, NY - Magtrol has added a low cost product offering to its line of TM Torque Transducers. The TMB Torque Transducer has been developed to provide a cost-effective solution for OEM or End User applications where measurement reliability must be combined with a tight budget.
TMB transducers are rated from 1 to 500 Nm nominal torque with an accuracy of 0.2% and speeds to 6000 rpm. The TMB series complements the TM and TMHS series, which offer a precision 0.1 % nominal torque from 1 to 10,000 Nm, with speed ranges to 50,000 rpm.
All Magtrol Torque Transducers employ a unique. non-contact differential transformer measuring technology, which provides long-term reliability and stability for maintenance-free operation and superior electrical noise immunity. Because there are no strain gauges, sliprings or rotating electronic components in the design, the transducers provide frictionless operation with a high resistance to fatigue. All Magtrol torque transducers have integrated electronic conditioning with open collector speed outputs and a torque signal of +/- 5VDC over ranging to +/- 10VDC.
