Tohnichi Introduces CTA2 Digital Torque and Angle Wrench



Northbrook, IL (March 18, 2009) - For added features and functionality, Tohnichi has developed a new version of its digital torque and angle wrench, the Model CTA2. Combining two previous models CTA and CTA-P wrenches into one tool, with the CTA2 the operator selects either single tightening or production mode. Enter snug torque and angle data either through keypad or by PC software (included). Upon reaching the desired snug torque, the display automatically changes from torque to angle mode. When approaching the set angle an intermittent buzzer sounds and when target angle is achieved blue lamp lights and steady buzzer sounds. Tohnichi's CTA2 wrench is designed for small lot production, maintenance and after-service (where angle method is adopted) applications, as well as a back-up tool for angle method nutrunners. Six models are available covering torque measurement ranges of 10 up to 850 NM.(Metric and English models also available)
